When his stepfather forces him into an expensive Guild program to find his “gift,” he discovers a new way to live among friends, and in the shadow of capital conspiracies.
Already with a special gift of his own, he grew up with the ability to visualize the world around him in an array of colors whenever he closes his eyes. The entire world of Roseaarde was born from a horrific nightmare in the early 2000s. All it took was a single scene and dream journal diligence to form the lives of Lor and his friends as they make choices that bring them into that scene.
Much of The Many Colors of Gold's world-building was created over the course of around 20 years. Ultimately, about 10% of that world-building remained.
